These vehicles will enhance our operations in the Southern and Northern regions of Tanzania, helping us serve farmers and agricultural stakeholders more efficiently. The Kilimo Tija Project is focused on transforming the agricultural landscape in Tanzania. On the 18th and 19th of October 2024, Osho Chemical Industries Ltd hosted an unforgettable Distributor Awards ceremony at the beautiful Hemingways Hotel in Watamu. This two-day event celebrated our top-performing distributors, honouring their outstanding contributions, dedication, and support in delivering excellence across the board. The event began with a warm welcome for our distributors, who were treated to a relaxing afternoon lunch and the soothing ambiance of Hemingways. With views of the Indian Ocean and the luxurious surroundings, our guests were encouraged to unwind and enjoy the tropical elegance in preparation for the evening’s celebrations. At 6 pm, the awards ceremony commenced in a stunning beachfront setting arranged by the pool. As our guests entered, they were welcomed by an exhilarating display of traditional dancers and mesmerising fire-breathing performers, adding a unique Kenyan flair to the festivities. The evening was officially kicked off with a hearty dinner that brought together friends, colleagues and industry peers in a spirit of comradeship. As the awards segment began, each awardee was celebrated through a touching personal testimonial video, sharing stories of dedication, perseverance, and success that defined their journey with Osho. These heartfelt narratives gave a deeper insight into the exceptional effort behind each award, underscoring the importance of our distributors in achieving our company’s goals. Following the awards, the evening transformed into a lively celebration of dance, music and networking that continued well into the night, bringing everyone together in shared joy. The second day offered a change of pace, focusing on relaxation and further connection. We embarked on a scenic cruise to Sita Sunset Restaurant, where our distributors were treated to another delightful experience complete with traditional dances and a sumptuous meal. Celebrating the Future: Osho Chemical Industries Ltd Hosts Graduation Ceremony for Apprentices and Indentured Learners
Osho Chemical Industries Ltd, in collaboration with the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA), recently hosted a prestigious graduation ceremony for its graduate apprentices and indentured learners. This event marks a significant milestone in the journey of these professionals, who have successfully completed a rigorous training program that began in September 2022. National Productivity and Competitiveness Centre Secretary Nahashon Moitaleel, emphasized the importance of industry involvement in national training schemes regulated by NITA. “NITA plays a crucial role in industrial training and skills development in all integral components stimulating Kenya’s economic growth and the realization of a competitive human capital,” he said. The program saw the graduation of 66 machine operators and 14 other professionals from the National Industrial Training Schemes of Indentured Learnership and Graduate Apprenticeship training. Osho founder and chairperson, Manoj K Shah, encouraged the graduates to be bold and innovative, using their newfound expertise to drive change and seek opportunities to mentor and support others. “The knowledge and skills you have gained over the past year are not just tools for your careers but foundations upon which you can build your dreams,” he stated. Osho’s CEO, Nisheel Shah, acknowledged the graduates’ achievements, highlighting the rigorous training and testing the 66 machine operators underwent. This ensured they mastered machine operations, basic maintenance, service, part replacement, and essential safety protocols. He also recognized the practical work experience gained by the 14 graduate apprentices, equipping them with skills required for future careers. Notably, 11 of these graduates have been absorbed within the Osho workforce. Congratulations to all the graduates!
