Composition: Cefoperazone
Description: Mastiwock contains Cefoperazone, which belongs to third generation cephalosporins group. It’s indicated for use in treating sub -Clinical and Clinical mastitis in lactating animals.
It is effective as a Single dose treatment against: Streptococcus Spp, Staphylococcus spp,
Escheridia Coli, Pseudomonas spp, Actinomyces Pyogenes, Micrococcus Spp and
Klebsiella Spp
Special advantages:
It’s able to withstand the beta – lactamase enzyme, produced by bacteria’s therefore
handles bacterial resistance.
Used as a single dose treatment
Easy to administer through the teat
Packaged with an antiseptic for cleaning teat opening for clean administration.
Stays in the udder 3- 5 days applying activity against bacteria’s
Administration:
10ml single dose to be injected immediately after milking out
Clean teat from physical dirt
Disinfect with antiseptic wipe of isopropanol solution 70% provided.
Inject through the teat opening into milk cistern.
Milk daily routines and discard milk from treated teat
Milk for human consumption can be taken after 4 days.
Precaution:
Contraindicated for Use Together with Aminoglycosides e.g., Streptomycin, Neomycin or
Gentamicin
Pack sizes: 10ml with Isopropanol wipe.
