Osho Chemical Industries Ltd, in collaboration with the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA), recently hosted a prestigious graduation ceremony for its graduate apprentices and indentured learners. This event marks a significant milestone in the journey of these professionals, who have successfully completed a rigorous training program that began in September 2022.
National Productivity and Competitiveness Centre Secretary Nahashon Moitaleel, emphasized the importance of industry involvement in national training schemes regulated by NITA. “NITA plays a crucial role in industrial training and skills development in all integral components stimulating Kenya’s economic growth and the realization of a competitive human capital,” he said.
The program saw the graduation of 66 machine operators and 14 other professionals from the National Industrial Training Schemes of Indentured Learnership and Graduate Apprenticeship training. Osho founder and chairperson, Manoj K Shah, encouraged the graduates to be bold and innovative, using their newfound expertise to drive change and seek opportunities to mentor and support others. “The knowledge and skills you have gained over the past year are not just tools for your careers but foundations upon which you can build your dreams,” he stated.
Osho’s CEO, Nisheel Shah, acknowledged the graduates’ achievements, highlighting the rigorous training and testing the 66 machine operators underwent. This ensured they mastered machine operations, basic maintenance, service, part replacement, and essential safety protocols. He also recognized the practical work experience gained by the 14 graduate apprentices, equipping them with skills required for future careers. Notably, 11 of these graduates have been absorbed within the Osho workforce.
Congratulations to all the graduates! Your dedication and hard work have paved the way for a brighter future. #wegrowwithyou
